The prerequisite is that you have a Google Ident

  1. Go to https://console.cloud.google.com/ sign in if necessary
  2. Create a new project, I now call it HomeyLoggingDemo (This link can lead you right to the creation of a new Project)
  3. It takes some time, then the project is created. Then select that project




  4. Next, select 'APIs & Services



  5.  Click on ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES



  6. Search for google sheets





  7. And you will find what you're looking for




  8. Slelect this and click on enable





  9. You will get a kinda dashboard for this API





  10. Click on CREATE CREDENTIALS





  11. Select Application Data


  12. Click on Next, and fill inn a suitable Service account name og click CREATE AND CONTINUE




  13. Click DONE 
  14. Next, click Credentials 


  15. Select the service account
  16. Select Keys and Add Key, Create new Key

  17. Select type JSON og click CREATE



  18. A JSON file will be created and downloaded to your computer


  19. Take good care of this file!. It's content is used to grant Homey access to your sheets.
