Home of the Rich Client POC

This is the home of the Rich Client POC space.

This Space is created to host an open and free Proof Of Concept to utilize the Rich Client apporoach. (RCA) It's open for all registered users to contribute, so please register and add comments or content if you want.

So here's the case:

The industy is constantly evolving and after attending the IBM Technical Confenerence in Barcelona 2008 and Hamburg 2009 I got interrested in the Rich Client which was presented by Matthew Perrins and Karl Bishop from IBM. I really think this is a progress and can solve a lot of issues in serious business applications. So I want to run a POC to convince by friends and colleagues about this approach.

I know there are issues and there is areas that RCA cannot be used. So I'm going to adress what's good and what's bad. I also want to create a Acme Inc application which can be a showcase to RCA from the top to bottom, using REST Services.

You may wonder : Why cannot I just look at all samples in different places ? I did that, but didn't find one that adressed all my issues in one application. I want do create a demo that ha it all from top to bottom.

RESTWeb code uploaded

I uploaded my source code for building som JAX-RS based REST Services to my SCM. The project is named RESTWeb. It's just some playing with JAX-RS but it's something to start with
